Saturday, day +50: half time at the beach – Halbzeit am Strand !

Heute haben wir den ersten Tag ohne Krankenhaus verbracht und sind statt dessen wirklich an den Strand gefahren.Unsere Laune war deutlich besser als das Wetter,aber die Seeluft hat uns allen gut getan. Wir haben den Tag alle in vollen Zuegen genossen, viele Muscheln gesammelt und ein tolles Picknick gehabt. Mit dem Essen hat es Luka immer noch nicht so richtig, deshalb lassen wir uns bei den Mahlzeiten immer etwas spassiges einfallen.

Morgen frueh muessen wir zur Kontrolle ins Krankenhaus und hoffen, dass wir im Laufe der Woche offiziell entlassen werden und nur noch jeden zweiten Tag zur Kontrolle muessen. Dann werden wir auch unseren Blog nur noch jeden zweiten Tag ‚kontrollieren‘ 🙂 .

Today was our first day without any visit to the hospital at all. Instead, we used the new freedom to spend a couple of hours at the beach. Our mood was much better than the weather but the sea air was clearly helpful for all of us. We enjoyed the day, the kids played and collected shells (although Luka was rather lethargic) and we had a woderful picnic. Luka’s appetite is still rather low and therefore we always have to come up with some gimmicks to actually make him eat something.

Tomorrow morning we have to go to the hospital again but we hope to finally be officially discharged at some time in the coming week and then only have to go there every second day to control bloods etc. Then we would also start to ‚control‘ our blog only every second day… 🙂 .

    wir hoffen, Ihr konntet alle lange ausschlafen und genießt dann ein schönes Sonntagsfrühstück. Es ist so schön, die Bilder von Euch allen am Strand zu sehen.
    Wir wünschen Euch auch für heute einen schönen, entspannten Tag (mit kurzem Krankenhausbesuch).
    Nachher fahren wir nach Oberursel zum Brunchen und freuen uns, alle mal wiederzusehen.

  2. Hallo ihr Lieben,
    herzlichen Glückwunsch zur Halbzeit und dass dieser Tag auf jeden Fall ein guter Tag ist – das ist doch hoffentlich ein gutes Zeichen für die 2. „Halbzeit“!! Auch wenn es sicherlich immer wieder mal einen Rückschritt zwischendrin geben wird so hoffe ich, dass ihr weiterhin immer mehr Schritte nach vorne als nach hinten macht und auch die nächsten 50 Tage ersteinmal mit eurer wirklich beeindruckenden Stärke und positiven Einstellung hinter euch bringt.
    Um eure Strandparty beneide ich euch ja etwas… und das in England…;-)) Aber in Frankfurt soll es ab heute und bis über Ostern zum Glück ja auch schön und warm werden!

    das sind ja alles großartige Nachrichten im Wochenende !!
    Hab mich wahnsinnig gefreut als ich gelesen habe das die Blutwerte so toll waren ..
    Ich drücke euch ganz fest die Daumen das bald Entlassung ist und sich weiterhin alles so prima entwickelt 🙂

    Ich bin begeistert das Oma und Opa auch immer mit dabei sind und euch so toll unterstützen

  4. Ihr Lieben,

    das sind ja wunderschöne Bilder, das freut mich riesig für Euch!!!
    Ab heute ist es bei uns auch richtig sonnig und schön, gestern haben wir das Trampolin aufgebaut, bestimmt zur grossen Freude aller Nachbarn :-))
    Jetzt sind ja nun alle Flüge gebucht, wir freuen uns schon soooo sehr auf die Mädels, hier sind alle schon ganz aufgeregt.

  5. Wonderful on all fronts 🙂 So pleased to read that you are in touching distance of being discharged. Luka should start to write a list of the things he is looking forward to doing at home rather than in hospital – even if they are the same things he enjoyed in the school/play room there. Just being permanently back home will be great for you all.

    toll, das ihr zur Halbzeit nicht in die Klinik musstet, sondern an den Stand fahren konntet.
    Wir wünschen euch,dass ihr bald entlassen werdet und wir den Blog immer sletener lesen dürfen – denn das heußt, ihjr seid zurück im Alltag.

    Steffie und Karsten – wie war es nach so langer Zeit einfach mal wieder auszugehen ; hoffenlich konntet ihr es genießen.

    Wir freuen uns riesig über die guten Nachrichten von Dir lieben Steffi. Die Blutwerte steigen
    und hoffentlich klappt es mit der Entlassung vom lieben Luka.Wir wünschen Euch weiterhin
    viel Glück und Ausdauer und drücken alle Daumen, daß es so weitergeht wie Ihr es Euch
    vorstellt. Tassanis sind mit Mika im Ferienhäuschen und alle fühlen sich sichtlich wohl.
