14. November 2014: Bad news….again….

Just came back from the thorax CT…which unfortunately showed that the spot in Luka’s right lung is increasing in size as well as getting more dense. We are currently waiting for another PET scan next week which will (hopefully not) show if there are any other new sites. If it is just the one in the lung Luka will have a surgery asap.

Luka takes it as it comes, (at least he is asking for playdates for today, tomorrow and so on)…  so do I….do we have another option ??? According to the quote I wrote the other day I realise everytime how true it is:

„You never know how strong you really can be, until it is your only option“.

Let’s be strong again 🙁

  1. Liebe Steffi, da muss ich beim Lesen gerade an folgende Worte denke:
    Ich habe viele Narben davongetragen, aber ich schaue auch auf Augenblicke zurück,
    die ich nicht erlebt hätte, wäre ich nicht über meine Grenzen hinausgegangen (Paulo Coelho).
    Es ist gigantisch, was ihr leistet. Und ich freue mich so für Euch, dass ihr es geschafft
    habt, zwei Wochen zusammen in der Türkei zu verbringen. Wir drücken Luca ganz
    fest die Daumen für nächste Woche – he´s the strongest boy we have ever known 🙂
