Just to let you quickly know in the very first beginning…everything fine so far…and this is just a short notice to let you now that we are all well end that Luka is currently well !

The very short summary for now is that we are busy like a normal family of six should be….with playdates, football, exams, still the move and (!!!) luckily we were able to have another two week break in Turkey together. All because we haven’t been able to start with the new experimental antibody treatment. Not only because the treatment is not fully tested yet but also because on Luka’s latest check up no signs of cancer have been evident. This is good for this moment, bad for the further plans of ‚experimental‘ treatment where you need signs of disease in order to provide it….So this is our emotional rollercoaster. But I will update you more at a later time when the internet problems have been fixed properly ;).

We will have another CT of thorax next week friday to doublecheck one suspicious, yet unspecified spot in Luka’s lungs that showed up for the first time in June this year. If it is moving in any direction sizewise….rather bad news because it might be either growing or reacting to the chemo and shrinking. Best would be if it is staying same size….then it could just be an infection, old scar or whatsoever….I rather go with whatsoever….

I will try to attach some pics…manually…more with the new system!

  4. Gute Nachrichten. Ich habe schon drauf gewartet!
    So einen Fleck in der Lunge haben sie bei meinem Neffen auch gefunden. Da hilft nur Hoffen und Beten!
