OK, heute war unser Verwöhntag auch wenn ich nach ‚gefühlter‘ langer Zeit mal wieder aus dem Krankenhaus schreibe…

Nach dem morgendlichen Krankenhausrun durften wir direkt wieder nach Hause fahren da wir bereits wussten das wir heute hier übernachten werden und somit keine Transfusionen brauchten. Dort haben wir erst mal in Ruhe den sonnigen (!) und 26 Grad warmen Garten (26 im Schatten !!!!!) genossen. Weiter ging es mit den bisher absolut höchsten Blutwerten post Transplant (Weisse und Neutrophile auf über 2 angestiegen). Da dies natürlich exakt die gestrige Meinung der Ärzte widerspiegelt bin auch ich wieder zur Höchstform aufgelaufen ;). Weiter sind wir dann im Richmond Park mal wieder in der Isabella Plantation gewesen….einfach ein Traum, die Blumen, der Duft, und….Luka hat das harte Brot für die Enten lieber selbst verspeist….mein persönliches Highlight !!!! Erst mit einem Hanuta konnte ich Ihn zufrieden stellen…..es geht bergauf !

Der krönende Abschluss war dann Luka’s erster Besuch seit langer Zeit bei unseren ausquartierten Katzen Linus und Lucy (Danke Ihr drei in Florida !!!) so das Luka jetzt nach einer ordentlichen Portion Nudeln, frisch geduscht und mit frischen Blut versorgt in seinem Krankenhausbettchen schlummert.

Ich hingegen kann mich heute mal wieder voller Enthusiasmus dem Blog widmen da mich dann die Ärztin nochmals im Hinblick auf die morgigen Ergebnisse beruhigt hat da Luka für alles ’nicht so gute‘ einfach zu gut aussieht…..das hört man doch gerne ! Also, ich spar mir die positive Energie für Morgen und geb wie immer Bescheid !

Today we had an absolute pampering program even though I am writing, after a rather long time, again out of hospital…

After our initial hospitalrun this morning we could return back home straight away since we knew that we would stay overnight anyways and therefore did not need any transfusions at that time. At home we enjoyed at first our sunny (!) and 26 degree warm garden (26 in the shadow !!!!!). We continued with the absolut utmost highest bloodcounts received post transplant (whites and neutrophils above 2). Since this reflects exactly yesterdays opinion of the docs, I started to get into top-form ;). Then we went for Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park….just terrific, the flowers, the scent and…Luka did eat the old, hard bread himself instead of feeding it to the ducks…my personal highlight ! I could only bribe him with a chocolate waffle to get off the old bread…..what a progress !

To top all this off Luka was allowed to come along for a visit to feed our billet out cats Linus and Lucy (thanks to the 3 of you in Florida!!!). So now Luka is after a nice shower and a big bowl of pasta fast asleep in his hospital bed spoiled with some fresh blood…..

I can now put all my enthusiasm into the blog since the doctor came again to reassure me with regard to tomorrows outcome that Luka is just looking too good for every ’not so good‘ result…this is what I like to hear ! So I will save all my positive energy for tomorrow and will let you know as always !

  4. That was welcome news you sent.
    Sounds as though things are moving along in the right direction in the Stroph household we were happy to hear.
    Don’t know if you knew, since you weren’t feeling so well.
    We left for the US Wednesday, arriving evening time in the US.
    Caught Karsten as he was departing for work and had a chance to quickly introduce him to my son who was visiting on his way to Germany for a couple of weeks work for his Co. after which he retires. He and Sharon (his wife) spent five days with us and they departed for Germany as we departed for the US.
    Our usual love and prayers come with this, Shirley and Bryan
